  • Understand the importance of providing trauma-informed care
  • Understand the scope and magnitude of poisoning in the US and Arkansas
  • Identify the trends in oral health care utilization of Arkansas children.
  • Learn about HealthySteps
  • Understand the prevalence of trauma in young children in Arkansas.
  • Learn how to prevent burnout.
  • Learn about the CDC’s Learn the Signs. Act Early. program.
  • Understand the updated asthma guidelines.
  • Interpret maternal testing for the required perinatal infection screening.

Requirements

In order to complete the course, participants must watch video recordings and complete the evaluation in order to claim CME credit.

Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Texas Medical Association (TMA) through the joint providership of Louisiana AAP and the Arkansas Chapter of AAP.

Credit Designation

The Louisiana AAP is accredited by TMA to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Louisiana AAP designates this enduring material for a maximum of 8.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
