By securing tax-deductible donations, the Arkansas Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics foundation supports the advancement of pediatrics in our state by increasing access to high-priority member activities, responding to emerging child health issues and continually generating new knowledge about the best way to care for our children.
2008 ARAAP Foundation Grantees are Announced
The ARAAP Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to fund three proposals.
The grantees are:
Dr. Jim Mark Ingram - Connecting the Dots (hosts a series of family-based forums at a Little Rock public school during the 2008-2009 school year)
Drs. Candice Dye, Erica Wade and Shelly Hamrick- Go Green (establishes a recycling program at ACH with patient and family education regarding the importance of recycling)
Dr. Darrell Nesmith - Arkansas Concussion Management Program (purchases neuro-cognitive testing software and trains personnel in its utilization)
